Introduction<\/h2>\n

The Collection<\/h3>\n

Legal actions in defense of Artistic Creation<\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”normal” down=”30″][vc_column_text]This initiative aims to motivate and support legal actions for the protection of art and its creators, taking into account that the existing legal framework for the protection of intellectual property is limited in its effectiveness, as is the struggle to curb the falsification of art objects. Exhibitions<\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”normal” down=”30″][vc_column_text]This area involves the management and curation, in collaboration with various institutions and organizations, of exhibitions of Javier Marin’s work and that of other artists and themes, on a national and international level. F\u00e1brica de San Pedro Cultural Center<\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”normal” down=”30″][vc_column_text]Since 2017, an important part of the Javier Marin Foundation\u00b4s efforts have been directed towards the creation of a Cultural Centre -specialized in design, art and gastronomy- in the former Thread and Textile Factory of San Pedro \u2013 F\u00e1brica de San Pedro- in the city of Uruapan, Michoacan. To this end, the Foundation has coordinated, together with professionals from the artistic and cultural sphere, an initial program that included art exhibitions, workshops and activities aimed at all audiences, which involved more than thirty-six thousand visitors. For two years (2020-22), the F\u00e1brica closed its doors to the public, to undertake restoration and adaptation works led by the Mexican architect Mauricio Rocha. On April 2022, the Foundation opened the first part of the facilities of this new Cultural Centre with the exhibition \u201cPunto de Partida. Modas, tramas y textiles\u201d (\u201cStarting point.
